About George

I have over 130 articles, books, book chapters, research reports and presentations.  I have published research articles in journals such as Harvard Business Review and Industrial Marketing Management.  Since 2009 I have published three books, New Asian Emperors (named by the Economist named "an important study"),   Marketing: Planning & Strategy, 8th ed. (Cengage) and Subsidies to Chinese Industry (Oxford University Press and headlined in the Economist as "a provocative new book".) I am Co-Editor-in-Chief for the new Imperial College Press Series on Multinational Investment and Business.  I have also published a series of articles, one journal article and several book chapters and conference presentations on patent regimes and their effects on innovation.  These articles and books provide me with the capability to bring diverse, ground-breaking knowledge on international emerging markets and innovation into my classes.
