About Jurea
I was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. I discovered my passion for social justice and activism in high school which inspired me to pursue social work for college. While I was at Southern, I joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and fell in love with the culture of Greek life. The experience I continue to have as a member of a sorority has inspired me to encourage other students to find their own sisterhood or brotherhood while pursuing their own college education.
