Leah Hartman is the Finance Program Coordinator within the Accounting, Finance and Marketing department and serves as a full-time Instructor for Finance and Economics. Leah joined the University in 2017 and since that time has been an active member of the University杏吧原版檚 recruiting team.
Leah graduated with honors from Indiana University with a B.S. and majors in Finance and Economics. She earned a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

She began her career working in investment banking at Drexel Burnham Lambert and SBCI Swiss Bank Corp., followed by 20 years of sell-side securities research at CRT Capital Group, now a part of Cowen Group, Inc.
At CRT, she specialized in consumer products and biotechnology debt and equity securities and held supervisory responsibilities and other senior roles within the firm. She later joined SKY Harbor Capital Management, a high yield investment manager, as its director of research. Most recently, she has served as the head of research at The Delaware Bay Management Company, a distressed debt investment fund.
Prof. Hartman is actively engaged in not-for-profit volunteer work, serving both as a director of national not-for-profit boards and also on the investment committee of several of other not-for-profit organizations.
