About Paul
Paul (he/him/his) is a provisionally licensed counselor who graduated with his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025 from Fairfield University. He hopes to create an environment in which students can safely explore both their pain and their strengths in order to heal. He has experience working with college students experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulties connecting with others, and difficulties coping with intense emotions. Paul's approach to counseling integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, which rest on the idea that living a values-driven life, and not simply feeling less sad, anxious, or angry, is vitally important for mental well-being. Paul is supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with his friends, family, and pets.
