State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements
The University of New Haven has been approved by Connecticut to participate in the . NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.
The University of New Haven is authorized to operate in all states that participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). Approval for institutional participation was granted by the State of Connecticut Office of Higher Education in May of 2017.
The University of New Haven is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). As an institutional member of NC-SARA, the University of New Haven is authorized to deliver distance education programs in other NC-SARA member states. The University of New Haven is exempt from seeking specific authorization from California.
