Financial Wellness: Tools For Students, Alumni, Parents, Faculty, and Staff

The University of New Haven understands that the lack of readily accessible educational information on personal finance management and debt management in our country has resulted in a wide variety of economic and social concerns that can directly affect our community members.

As a result we have created a Financial Literacy Committee comprised of members of the staff from across campus including the Center for Student Engagement, Leadership and Orientation, the BursarÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ™s Office, the Financial Aid Office, Graduate Student Engagement, the Career Development Center, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Enrollment, Center for Student Success, and Alumni Relations. The committee is tasked with developing a comprehensive financial literacy program at the University to help our community better understand, evaluate and improve their personal finances.

Financial Literacy Workshops

The Financial Literacy Committee sponsors several workshops per semester regarding financial literacy. Past workshops held on campus included topics such as Home Ownership, What You Need to Know About Credit, Budgeting 101, and Loan Repayment 101.
