ABET

ABET is a form of quality assurance for programs in the areas of applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. The University's undergraduate Computer Science program is accredited by ABET's Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC), while the undergraduate programs for Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering are accredited by ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC).

University of New Haven ranks top Cybersecurity Undergraduate Programs list by AccessCyber

The University of New Haven joins Purdue, RIT, and Virginia Tech as a top academic institution on the AccessCyber.orgÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ™s Top Cybersecurity Undergraduate Programs list. This year, institutions were selected based on several key factors, including: Community involvement, industry aligned curriculum, faculty reputation, innovative teaching methods, and alumni feedback.

National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations

The University of New Haven has been designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). The certification recognizes the Cyber Operations pathway in the University's B.S. in Computer Science with concentration in Cybersecurity, and the B.S. in Cybersecurity programs. These pathways use the electives within our programs to help satisfy all ten mandatory knowledge units and six additional knowledge units so our students can earn the Cyber Operations designation within the undergraduate program. There are currently 21 schools in the United States that feature Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations supported by the NSA.
