About Rei

Dr. Rei Samsami has 3+ years of experience in working with Departments of Transportation (DOTs) as a Graduate Research Assistant. Her research is positioned at the intersection of Automated Construction Inspection, Construction Information Modeling, and Data-Driven Decision-Making for project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

In parallel with her research, she has been the instructor of two courses of ӰԭComputer Applications in Civil and Environmental EngineeringӰԭ and ӰԭFundamentals of Construction EngineeringӰԭ at Michigan Tech (2020Ӱԭ2021). These courses were both well received and evaluated by her students and the CEGE department. She has received the departmentӰԭs ӰԭExcellence in Teaching AwardӰԭ for the courses she has taught at MTU.
